Implement best practices with Tracks
Tracks are a preset series of steps designed by you to process your leads. Leads are then assigned to the appropriate track in order to follow a consistent nurturing or prospect process. You can use tracks in any way you want. For example, you might set up a track into which you enter all leads from a trade show or all leads from a web site promotion. Or, you might create tracks by region, product, or sales territory so that the lead works its way through the right people. Tracks are simply a way to say 'I want all leads on this track to follow specific steps taken by specific people'.
A lead appears on your dashboard when it reaches a step on a track for which you are responsible. By choosing Tracks from the menu (1), you can create infinite number of tracks (2). Like most items in LeadsOnRails, a track can be activated and deactivated at any time (3).
Let's look at the next section of the tour to see how the steps in a track work.
