Ensure the right people take action
Once a track is defined, steps are created to set how each lead in that track is handled (2). Each step is given a title, description (what to do), and assigned to a user (3). Once a lead is put on a track, it proceeds through the series of steps in the order created. In the example below, after John completes his task, the lead will appear on Mary's dashboard for follow-up. Steps are specified to occur any number of days after the previous step is concluded.
You can add steps at any time (4) and add as many as needed. The screen below creating a new step gives a good example of the help and hints provided throughout LeadsOnRails.
